Drive, Chip and Putt is a free youth golf development initiative aiming to help younger generations begin their lifelong connection with golf by providing a fun, interactive platform for participants of all skill levels. Open to boys and girls ages 7-15, local qualifying will take place throughout all 50 states during the months of May, June, July, and August. Top performers at the local level will advance through subregional and regional qualifiers. The top 80 performers – 40 boys and 40 girls – will earn an invitation to the National Finals at Augusta National on Sunday, April 5, the eve of the 2020 Masters.
Open to Boys & Girls ages 7-15. Participants must be at least 7 years of age on Sunday, April 5, 2020, and may not be older than 15 years of age on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Please note: a player may participate in local, subregional and regional qualifying if he/she is 6 years old provided that he/she turn 7 years old on or before April 5, 2020. A 15 year old who will turn 16 years of age on or before April 5, 2020 is not eligible to participate.
Our training camp is designed to help juniors prepare for local, sub regional and regional qualifying.
Each week, juniors will train and simulate what they will experience during qualifying. Two separate camps will be held at Macatawa Golf Club to gain the knowledge and confidence to advance.
CAMP 1 – Tuesday’s: May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28. Starts at 4:30 pm.
CAMP 2 – Thursday’s: June 27, July 11, July 18, July 25. Starts at 9:00 am.
Duration depends on how many juniors sign up. More info closer to deadline.
Junior will receive handouts on each area covered with drills and tips to practice.
Cost: $125 per camp or $225 for both camps.
Must be signed up for Drive Chip & Putt prior to attending.
